Color Consultation
The relationship between architectural style and paint color can be confusing. Understanding the style of your house, the paint colors and technology available during different historical periods, and how colors influence each other, are helpful steps in choosing colors that are appropriate for the architectural style of your house and that work well together.
We offer on-site consultations to homeowners to help with the paint selection process. A staff person meets with the homeowner at the house to discuss the history and style of the house, explain the aesthetics of the period during which the house was built, choose historically-appropriate paint colors for the exterior, and discuss the placement of the different colors on the building.
Customized Maintenance Programs
The Partners in Painting maintenance programs are customized for the individual homeowner or business. Our most popular periodic maintenance programs are the external six-monthly and annual. All maintenance programs are fully customized. We would be pleased to meet with you to discuss your specific requirements.
The exterior of a home or business is very susceptible to all types of weathering. The forces of nature are very damaging, and exterior deterioration from exposure to the sun, the rain, the wind and the cold, are common place. Cracking and peeling paint, mildew, dirt and dust, all look unsightly. If you do not address the problem in a timely manner, damage will occur, ultimately affecting the value of your property.

Gutter Maintenance Programs
Our standard gutter cleaning includes cleaning all debris off roofs and valleys. We clean out all gutters, cleaning off all gutter guards (if present), cleaning out and checking all down spouts, and a spotless clean-up of all debris from the gutters.
We pressure-wash all gutters and downpipes, clearing out the heavy sludge that will accumulate even when leaves and debris are not present. This will ensure an unobstructive and swift water flow.

Plastering
Partners in Painting is not your standard plastering contractor. We specialize in Venetian Plastering (or Marmorino), which is a tintable acrylic plaster finishing system that can develop a beautiful, highly polished appearance. Various finished looks can be created by controlling the sheen level of the finish. Sanding and burnishing the plaster can create finishes such as polished marble, stone and suede.
This high polish is not the only unique quality. The more you polish – the more translucent the finish becomes. This translucency creates the depth, as seen in real marble and the beautiful finish is so smooth, it even feels like marble.
